I can’t believe it’s been an entire year since I launched this little hobby.
What started as a bad experience, turned into an idea, turned into realizing something I’m passionate about can be turned into a dream come true. It was never my intention to own a business. I never went to college with the dream of being a female entrepreneur. This business was formed by taking a risk. I risked people thinking I was part of a multi-level marketing group. I risked people not understanding what I was doing, something that’s so drastic from what I’ve done in the past. I risked people talking about me or a laughing at me and thinking I was crazy.
In fact, just a few days ago someone said to me, “Michelle, are you still schlepping out clothes?”
Yes, yes, I am. At the end of the day, I don’t care about the risks. I love being able to give you unique clothes. I love being able to interact with you and hearing what you’d love to see in the shop. So, I hope you love shopping with me just as much as I love being able to shop for you.

There are a lot of people I need to thank for encouraging and supporting me over the last year. I don’t want to sound like a rehearsed Oscar speech here but first and foremost, my parents. Who didn’t even flinch when I told them my idea of starting a boutique. My second parents, Barry and Lori, who whole-heartedly step up and say “Yes!” without hesitation every time I ask them to help with pop-ups. My friends (in no particular order) Danica, Grace, Jessie, Lauren, and Nicole—who tell their friends who tell their friends about Stylenutt. My wonderful photographer, Megan, and her sister Cortney, who models most of the items you see pictured. You both keep shoots so fun. From the bottom of my heart, I’m so thankful.
