Spring has Sprung

It's officially Spring here in the Midwest. We even said "hello" to Spring with a lovely snow storm on Easter. With Spring, comes a new collection! I've got lots of pieces that are perfect-- literally so perfect-- for spring. I want to break down some for you, so let's get started!

If you head over to the "SHOP" tab and click on "New Arrivals" you'll find our latest spring collection. Right now, we've got about 10 pieces up for grabs, and we'll be adding more throughout the Spring.

First, I want to talk about my favorite piece: the Thermal Tie Knot Top. If you follow any Instagram bloggers, or other boutiques, you've likely seen this top in different colors and variations floating around. I first saw it on Urban Outfitters Instagram page last fall. I loved it instantly. I searched high and low before I finally gave in and ordered one online. When I saw these become available through a wholesaler, I had to purchase. They've been on back order since JANUARY! (I know, right?!) I finally got them into my shop in March. I figured I would order two colors since it's such a versatile top. Dress it up, dress it down-- wear it with leggings, boots, sandals, wear it off the shoulder-- whatever. I don't say this very often but if you don't have this top in your closet; you are missing out on a HUGE trend for spring and summer.

Here are the details: 49% Polyester, 49% Rayon, 2% Spandex. Despite this; it's actually very soft and comfortable. It fits true to size, but if it is possible to size down. I would wear a Medium. Small: 2-6, Medium 8-10, Large: 12

The next item I want to talk about is the Quarter Sleeve Jumpsuit. First things first. Do you know how hard it is to take a photo of a jumpsuit?! It's hard, okay. Let me tell you. So, I apologize that my iPhone photography skills are lacking. Thats why I work with the photographer I do. Anyway, back to the jumpsuit. Who doesn't love a good jumpsuit? They always make me feel classy and chic, like I should be at lunch in Beverly Hills with a pair of large oversized sunnies. (I've been watching to much of the RHOBH.) Jumpsuits can be tricky but this one is actually flattering for all body types. It's quarter length sleeve with a wider pant leg. It has a drawstring (that's always a plus for me) and a keyhole detail in the back.

Here are the details: 95% Rayon, 5% Spandex. Size, like I said before, can be a little tricky with jumpsuits but I believe this is very true to size. I would wear a large (I've got legs and a booty so I need to size up.) Small: 2-4, Medium: 6-8, Large: 10.

Up next is our only dress of the spring collection right now: the Floral Bell Sleeve Dress. I'm not sure how we got lucky and were able to order this dress, but we were! It's a great dress. It has an empire waste, so it's flattering on every body type. I actually wore this dress a couple weeks ago to see Phantom of the Opera in London and I got SO many compliments on it. It also has quarter length bell sleeves and is a midi-length. This dress does run a little big, so here are my size recommendations: Small: 2-6, Medium: 8-10, Large: 12. This dress is made of VERY stretchy material.

We've got more things coming this week so once we get them I will be taking pictures and posting WHY YOU NEED all of these clothes in your closet! If you haven't, check us out on Facebook. You can also join our closed group where you can shop right there on the feed. If you check our group, you can enter for a special giveaway of one of these items featured in this blog!

I hope you like the inventory and if there's anything you want me to add to the shop, please shoot me a note! - Happy shopping! #shopstylenutt
