New Season, New Blog!

Hi friends! Happy Monday to you-- Thank you for stopping by! If you’ve been here before, you may notice that things look a little different. I’m switching it up because I really want to make your experience shopping at this boutique the best possible. So, I’m relaunching this blog!

What’s the goal here? To make every one of you feel like you’re having a conversation with me about every item that’s in the store. While I don’t run a brick and mortar, I try to do a few pop-ups, but it’s still not the same as being able to walk through a store and look at and feel the clothes. With this blog, I’m going to try to curb that. I’m going to be as real and as transparent as possible. You’ll learn why I picked something from a wholesaler. (Hint: I’ll never buy something that I wouldn’t wear.) You’ll learn about each piece; how it lays, the fabric, and what I would pair it with.

I know you’re probably thinking, “Why should I listen to you? Why should I buy from you?” The simple answer is: you shouldn’t. Sounds a little crazy, right? You shouldn’t buy from me if you don’t like my opinion. And that’s okay. I’m not here to tell you that everything looks good on you. I’m not here to tell you “give me your money.” I’m here to help you. I’m here to give you advice. I’m here to empower you.

How do you do I that? I think that’s something we’re all trying to figure out. But here’s what I do know: I am passionate about empowering women to be their best. I am passionate about giving women a platform to look and feel good about themselves. Because with that, us women are unstoppable.

I don’t have a degree in fashion merchandising. I didn’t go to college to become a designer. I have a degree in Communications and I full time work in Video Production. Things that are very different from the typical person who might be starting an online boutique. While I don’t have the education, I do have a background in retail. In high school, I worked at Limited Too, then Fossil, then Forever 21. I worked for a few years at Banana Republic, just as something else to do.

There are a lot of online boutiques out there. Mine is no different from the next one. I just hope that we can help each other along this journey and do it while looking and feeling good. Thank you, again, for stopping by. I’m so glad you’re here and that you’re supporting my small business adventure. Please don’t hesitate to reach out. Say hi or tell me something you’d like to see in the store.

Happy shopping!

Michelle
