Holiday 2018 Gift Guide

The holiday season is upon us. Who’s ready?! I feel like I usually take the holidays in different strides every year. Some years, I’m done with my shopping months before. Other years, like this year, it sneaks up on me and I’m scrambling to finish my list. Luckily—it’s a short list of people I usually buy for. This blog will be slightly different and a little longer. I am going to pick pieces from the shop that I think will make great gifts. It’s long—so let’s get started!

First things first, we’re talking about holiday shopping and what’s a little holiday shopping without some Christmas cheer?!

COFFEE AND CHRISTMAS CHEER TEE - $18

Pictured: Coffee and Christmas Tee (L)

This tee is perfect. It’s the canvas brand and if you don’t know about their tees, you’re missing out. It’s the softest, most relaxed t-shirt you’ll find. It’s not stiff or thick like some t-shirts. This is unisex sizing, so whatever size you or whoever you’re buying for falls into will fit regularly. I like to knot up my t-shirts, so I size up. In this picture, I’m wearing a large. If I didn’t want to knot it up, I would go with a medium. It's paired here with our oversized blanket scarf, which you can read more about below! Disclaimer: Starbucks Red Reusable Cup NOT for sale, that baby is all mine- ha!

SHERPA PULLOVER - $44

Pictured: Sherpa Pullover in Wine (M)

Have you ever wanted to wear a cloud? This is your chance. This pullover is SO soft, I feel like I’m wrapped up in a blanket. AND it has pockets, a favorite detail of any true basic gal! This comes in two colors, Oatmeal and Wine. It’s also true to size. I’m wearing a medium in pictures.

Small: 2-4, Medium: 6-8, Large: 10

SQUARE ROCK CUT NECKLACE - $22

Pictured: Square Rock Cut Necklace

I’m not going to lie, I’ve always been a little intimidated by buying jewelry for the shop. My style is so simple when it comes to jewelry, I try to maintain that mindset when I’m purchasing. I saw this necklace and I thought about how I would wear it: with a white knotted up tee and a cardigan. It’s simple but makes a statement. This necklace is lead compliant.

ROUND ROCK CUT NECKLACE - $22

Pictured: Round Rock Cut Necklace

With this necklace I have the same mentality that I do with the Square Rock Cut Necklace. It’s simple but, again, makes a statement. It’s a great layering piece and it can be worn all year round. This is also lead compliant.

DRUZY TASSEL NECKLACE - $22

Pictured: Druzy Tassel Necklace

This necklace just really speaks to me. I have purchased druzy (gem stones) before and they sold out so quickly. I didn’t want to purchase the same necklace but something a little longer so when this popped up, I knew it would be a great addition to the shop. It’s a long, tassel necklace, and the detail is just so beautiful. This is also lead compliant.

TOP KNOT BEANIE - $16

Pictured: Top Knot Beanie

If you know me, you know I wear my hair in a top knot almost every day. So, when these beanies started showing up on markets a couple of years ago, I knew I needed to add some to my collection. When I opened Stylenutt, this was one of the first things I was the most excited to buy. The beanie itself is actually pretty thick. I’ve had mine for a few months and while I’ve only worn it a few times, the fabric has not stretched out, so it’s still got a tighter feeling around my head. The hole at the top is perfect for my top knot. Also, I'm wearing the Button Up Pullover here, you can read more about that below.

OVERSIZED BLANKET SCARF - $17

Pictured: Oversized Blanket Scarf in Beige

Is it a scarf? Is it a blanket? You can NEVER go wrong with a blanket scarf, right?! I have been a huge fan of scarves for a very long time, so I never hesitate to buy any. This plaid one is a favorite. It’s thin enough that you can easily wear it as a scarf, but it’s also so big and versatile that it works as a wrap, or even a blanket as well. This comes in two colors, Beige and Ivory with black stripes.

BUTTON UP PULLOVER- $44

Pictured: Button Up Pullover (S)

This was the first pullover I bought for the store and I sold out during my first pop up shop. I placed another order and sold that out too. So now, I’ve placed my third order and ready for these babies to sell out. Why did I buy them? I’ll be honest: I saw everyone buying them from a brick and mortar- that will remain unnamed- store last season. They were all over Instagram. They were all over my office. Although I might have been a little behind on the trend, they are still popular. They are cozy, soft, but not too thick. You can still wear them with a jacket. As far as sizing goes, it’s pretty true to size. Although, it you are large-chested with a small torso, the way it lays might be a little off—the fabric hem between the quilted section and the fleece section will probably hit you in an awkward spot. I know that’s not going to help me sell these, but it’s an important tidbit that you should know about. Sizing wise: Small 2-4, Medium 6-8, Large 10, X-Large 12. Yes! This one comes in XL!

What else do you think should be featured in our gift guide? I’d love to know what you’re thinking so please comment below. As always, thanks for shopping!
